Who we are
DutchLessonsOnline (dutchlessonsonline.com) provides self-paced online Dutch language courses. By purchasing a course or otherwise using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. For any question, you can reach us at contact@dutchlessonsonline.com.

Our courses
Our courses are digital products: pre-recorded, self-paced online Dutch lessons. When you purchase a course, you receive access to the course materials for personal, non-commercial learning use. Unless stated otherwise on the product page, access is granted for the lifetime of the course as long as it remains available on our website.
Ordering and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed, and you will receive a confirmation by email.
Access and delivery
After your payment is confirmed, you will receive access to your course. Access is provided immediately in digital form; no physical goods are shipped. It is your responsibility to keep your login details and access information safe and confidential.
Right of withdrawal and our guarantee
Because our courses are digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, EU law allows us to ask you to expressly waive the standard 14-day right of withdrawal at the time of purchase, since that right otherwise ends once you have started downloading or streaming the content.
Instead, we offer our own 14-day guarantee: if you are not satisfied with your course, contact us within 14 days of purchase at contact@dutchlessonsonline.com and we will discuss a resolution with you, which may include a refund at our discretion. This guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not replace, any statutory consumer rights you may have under Dutch and EU law.
Intellectual property
All course content, including videos, text, exercises, and materials, is owned by DutchLessonsOnline (or licensed to us) and is protected by copyright. When you purchase a course, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the materials for your own learning. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly share, or otherwise make the course materials available to others without our prior written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website or course materials, including by attempting unauthorised access to our systems, sharing your account or paid access with others, or using the content for any unlawful purpose.
Limitation of liability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure our courses and website function correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. To the extent permitted by law, DutchLessonsOnline is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or courses. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your own country of residence as an EU consumer.
