What is the reading exam?
The reading exam is a part of the Dutch inburgeringsexamen.
During this exam, you read short texts in Dutch and answer questions about them.
You get about 65 minutes to complete the exam. The texts are not long, but you need to understand the most important information.
You will see different types of texts. For example, you may read a letter, an email, an advertisement, a short story, or an information text. These are texts you also see in daily life in the Netherlands.
The goal of the exam is simple:
